01 / Asset governance

Asset lifecycle governance

Physical assets move. Their records and responsibilities need to move with them.

My scope

I lead work on network and IT asset lifecycle management at Mobily. The work includes digital workflows, physical verification and reconciliation, and governance for reuse, redeployment and end-of-life decisions.

This involves coordination between operational and financial processes. My contribution is leadership of the work and its governance; delivery involves teams across the organization. Internal system names, asset values and performance figures are intentionally excluded.

A proposed transfer is not an accepted one

The example below separates a request from acceptance. The location changes only when the receiver accepts the handover. Repeating acceptance does not apply the movement twice.

Illustrative example, not an employer system

Try a transfer

Sample asset DEMO-104 starts at Site A. The requested destination is Depot B. Nothing is sent or saved.

The recorded location remains unchanged until acceptance.
