Profile

Operations, systems
and the decisions between them.

I am Nadim Najjar, Director of Assets Lifecycle Management @ Mobily, based in Riyadh.

My work brings together network and IT asset lifecycle management, workflow automation, and data governance. I lead work that connects operational records with financial processes and the people responsible for each stage of an asset's life.

The practical questions interest me: who accepts a transfer, what evidence supports a correction, how reuse is assessed, and what happens when two records disagree. A system needs clear answers to those questions before it can support reliable decisions.

Digital transformation in daily operations

My work includes modernizing asset-lifecycle workflows, physical verification and reconciliation, and governance for reuse, redeployment and end-of-life decisions. Location intelligence and digital handovers support this work; they are useful when they help people act on information they can verify.

I am also working with my team to add an AI layer to an asset-lifecycle platform. This work is in progress, not a claim of a deployed AI capability. The writing here examines evaluation, permissions and operational handover before introducing that capability into a live process.

AI beyond a job title

I was a member of the QuickListen team, which won first place at the Saudi ChatGPT Hackathon in 2023. The Saudi Press Agency reported the team's award.

I have also served as a judge at AI hackathons, including a hackathon at LEAP 2024. That work gives me another way to think about which AI ideas are ready to test.
